Where do I get replacement parts or glass for a Heat & Glo fireplace?
Through an authorized Heat & Glo dealer — which we are. Steady Flame sources OEM Heat & Glo parts and glass directly from the manufacturer, matched to your unit's model and serial number. Give us those (there's a rating plate behind the lower louver or in the manual) and call (828) 545-0525. We never recommend DIY on gas components.
Why the model and serial number come first
Heat & Glo has built dozens of models over 20-plus years, and parts are model-specific — the wrong valve, igniter, or glass simply won't fit or seal. Every unit has a rating plate with the model and serial number, usually behind the lower louver, on the frame, or printed in your owner's manual.
Snap a photo of that plate and we can pull the exact OEM component. Guessing from a picture of the whole fireplace wastes everyone's time; the plate is what tells us what you've got.
Glass is a safety part, not a cosmetic one
On a direct-vent Heat & Glo, the front glass is part of a sealed combustion system — it keeps combustion byproducts out of your room. It has to be the correct OEM ceramic glass with the right gasket, seated properly, or the seal fails. This is not the place for a generic pane cut to size.
We supply the factory glass and install it so the seal is right. Cracked or fogged glass, a failed gasket, a white haze that won't wipe off — bring it to us rather than a hardware store.
